Could you post the federation section of your config?
Sure, this is what I added:
federation: { enabled: true tls_enabled: true # allowed_instances: lemmy.ml,other_instance.tld,... uncomment this to use an allowlist }That looks correct for open federation. Do you have a firewall, or anything that would block outgoing connections from Lemmy? Anything in the logs?
I have a firewall, but it isn’t blocking outgoing traffic. The Lemmy logs show nothing weird and so does firewalld.
You installed with Docker? Then I’m out of ideas, only other idea would be to reinstall (maybe on a fresh server).
This is a docker install, yes, with docker-compose. Thanks for help anyway, much appreciated :)
