Solved the computing and smartphone problems of everyone, by helping thousands of people, atleast for the next decade. Exposed grifters that harm people’s privacy, security and anonymity. Cleansed reddit and saved Lemmy from such grifters taking over at my own cost.

Stood for the correct things when most of the people in the world became liars and grifters. Helped people come out of depression during COVID, and aided them.

racist ethnic cleansing by Moscow’s millionaires

Oh yes let us just flip reality and practice Big Lie to hide Ukraine’s genocide of ethnic Russians since 2014. Riiight?

This post is bait lie. Whoever posts such things, make a note of them in your head. You will be better off.

I just want to say that, as myself having been Lemmy’s silent watchdog, I am happy to see you stand up to all this stuff before it (amongst the ongoing admin ruckus) starts spiralling out of hand. I have experience with the chans and darknet underbellies of the internet, so I can lend advice from my experience whenever needed. (I do not care about any mod or admin powers.)

I want to see this thing grow.

Are you one of those le CoC = bad people, by any chance?

Nope, Lemmy is not for you. Have a good day.

You might want to try one of the chans or free speech reddit clones, perhaps?

I have not said about metadata, but contested your claims of conflating security with phone number identifier causing lack of anonymity.

Geopolitical game, metadata and phone number identifier can be a different aspect of its own, compared to security.

I would like to contest your claim of the geopolitical aspect here as well. You may have suspicion about Signal, but do you think organisations like Riseup are also backdoored?

I disagree. The nuance between the words “hacker” and “cybercriminal” is so different that it should not even be contested. If you are a socialist, be critical and consistent. These nuances matter a lot. A hacker is not necessarily a criminal. And a criminal is not necessarily a hacker.

“Secure messenger” and “requires a telephone number” are not compatible concepts.

Wrong. Anonymity from your contacts or phone carrier or government is different from security of messages and metadata.

Let that not distract you from the fact that earth rotates around the Sun and people’s spied data resides inside Utah data centers.

What are easy to present criticisms of mainstream outlets like BBC and CNN?
While it is easy to use phrases like "use critical thinking", this is not easy for elders or cousins in families to be told, as this is not lucid to understand in a snap. It is essential for criticism to be easily communicable to ordinary people that watch Google Feed or MSN News daily, and I feel that such criticism is not even easy to access or read, considering ordinary people have been cornered from MSM, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and rest of Big Tech and Western media apparatus. If you love your BBC and CNN feeds, avoid this post, this is not for you.

r/PrivacyGuides restored citation-less slander post as facts, and GrapheneOS community sockpuppet theory is proven correct by one of its members

r/PrivacyGuides is allowing a personally targeting post with my name in post title currently, slandering me and my smartphone guide
https://teddit.net/r/PrivacyGuides/comments/rxf02a/theanonymousjoker_false_privacy_prophet/ This is one of key GrapheneOS community members doing it, and r/PrivacyGuides has the same moderation team as r/privacytoolsio before, and the main moderator of r/privacy is also same. Has anyone seen this kind of behaviour in overall privacy community? Edit: https://ghostarchive.org/archive/ttkkU reddit post archived

100% FOSS Smartphone Hardening non-root Guide 4.0
https://lemmy.ml/post/128667 Crosspost but the guide body is so long, I had to break it into 5 parts.

https://lemmy.ml/post/69064 They did it before too. Admins? Mods? [@dessalines@lemmy.ml](https://lemmy.ml/u/dessalines) [@nutomic@lemmy.ml](https://lemmy.ml/u/nutomic) [@AgreeableLandscape@lemmy.ml](https://lemmy.ml/u/AgreeableLandscape)

The heck is this nonsense? Instance admins please take note of this attempt to mislead the community members. [@nutomic@lemmy.ml](https://lemmy.ml/u/nutomic) [@dessalines@lemmy.ml](https://lemmy.ml/u/dessalines) [@AgreeableLandscape@lemmy.ml](https://lemmy.ml/u/AgreeableLandscape) Also I made the post discussing soferman's month long comment and post history, if anyone wants to read and discuss it https://lemmy.ml/post/69058

Why does Lemmy look so wholesome even without the garbage stuff and gild award tokens? Why is there a lack of (retro and pre 2010) gaming discussions?
It feels refreshing like the old days of Reddit minus the bad stuff. People discussing hobbies, music, technology and stuff. The one thing this place needs now is gaming discussions.

Brainstorm time: Why do non-West country users have less participation on discussion forums? (Read text for context)
The USA/West-EU countries make up about 12% of the world's population, yet have about 80% participation on Reddit. Statistics do not differ much for other sites, as I used to have a decent non-anonymous tech blog years ago, where Google and WordPress offered me similar statistics of 70-75% of the visitors being from the Anglosphere. Is it because the citizens of these countries are drenched in individualist capitalist societal culture, and easier access to fast internet? What else could be the reasons, and cultural cues? I have felt that it is the core reason for this chaos and toxicity on the internet, where this very kind of immoral self-centered culture became a virtual hegemony over the decades. It is a thought that strikes my mind often, as someone from India/Asia, and there is almost non existent discussion about this anywhere.

How should one deal with China criticising CIA/NED funded articles posted on one's community?
Someone did it on r/privatelife, I removed it after notifying users for few hours, showing its annual $300K NED grants on NED website. Socialists will understand this problem more deeply.

How should admins, mods and users deal with sockpuppet harassers and downvoters?
I assisted admins, caught and got banned over the past week a user noobda, who created accounts noobde, noobdaREBRN and now noobrao. A few hours later now, I see 3-4 downvotes on every single comment of mine in the past week, and have gotten repeated death threats in PMs, likely by this very person. Is an IP address or IP range ban a good solution, that admins should consider implementing besides report option? I feel incredibly harassed here at Lemmy, though nothing common, where reddit users have abuse reported me to seek suicide prevention helpline, among many things.

Why are typical pseudo intellectuals, xenophobes and racist trolls leaking into Lemmy recently?
They are not only shitposting but also mass brigading, running down discussions to the ground.
