TL;DR GNOME will have a system-wide dark style preference in 42. Please update your apps to support it, see the instructions.

      I wouldn’t doubt it, it is set to release by the next 6 months (if my memory doesn’t fail me), and the next LTS from Ubuntu is still far to come, only in early 2022.

        next 6 months does include early 2022 ;) With that said, depends on when the feature freeze for the LTS is.

          Now that I think of it I highly doubt it will, if the next LTS releases on schedule (the .04 has a reason after all), it’d be REALLY close to the next GNOME release, so I think we’d only see it on Ubuntu with their 22.10 release.
