    Google has been doing this security theater for a while now, where they claim to do security or even genuinely innovate in some areas, while leaving a massive backdoor open for their tracking.

    • Google Chrome has the world’s greatest sandboxing, also if you use Chrome Sync, your entire browsing history is unencrypted on Google’s servers.
      Oh wait, they do offer end-to-end-encryption, you just need a second password for basically no reason, which ensures less than 0.1% of users will actually use E2EE.

    • Alternative Android app stores could be insecure, be cautious when using them, never mind that it’s hard to find apps on the Play Store which don’t constantly syphon data.

    • And my personal favorite: Android apps pretty much can’t access the file system and need to request user permission to do almost anything. But because Google needs to display ads, you can’t restrict their internet access.

    DDG App should have the ability to vary its user agent depending on websites
