    because i like gemini and i want people to use it :D and when you don’t have a gemini client installed, clicking the link won’t work and probably many people won’t notice that is not a http link

      So post a HTTP link (via a Gemini proxy) instead and put the Gemini link in the body of the post instead. Now you just get people to not read the article instead.

      I understand you want people to use Gemini, but this is not the way to do it. Also, I personally won’t ever use Gemini if it doesn’t even have support for some basic stuff like inline images 🤷

        i kind of understanad your reaction but i what i want to achieve is a culture where it is very normal to post gemini links instead of http links. And this won’t happen if i post via gemini proxies.

        And also, i thought that the title might be very interesting so curious people might install a clilent or find a way to read this article. :D
